Ashdown-Ingram is on the move again! This time, it is their Beresfield branch packing its bags to move to a new location to accommodate its growing business.
First becoming a part of the Ashdown-Ingram family in 2014, the Beresfield branch was actually part of an acquisition when Ashdown-Ingram purchased PJL Diesel Electric. Within a few months it was fitted out with a mezzanine floor to meet a need for increased stock levels and has continued to look after Trade, Industrial and Mining customers ever since.
With such a strong emphasis on the mining and associated heavy industry sector, the new branch has been dual branded with Ashdown-Ingram and GPC Commercial. The blue external facade is the first of its kind in the Ashdown-Ingram stable, showcasing the strength of the GPC Commercial brand.
Having outgrown the original location in Kullara Close, the new Enterprise Drive location has allowed for the logistical capabilities required to best manage mining and large scale operations by the GPC Commercial team. This includes freight access and warehousing space, which is now over 1000m². This is over double the size of the prior location.
Whilst most customers are familiar with the Ashdown-Ingram business, GPC Commercial is a little less well known. The business enhances Ashdown-Ingram’s offer by including MRO products and business services specific to the needs of large mining and heavy duty customers. The teams are integrated into a selection of Ashdown-Ingram branches on the East Coast, however Beresfield is the first to bear the logo on the building.
If you’re in the area, be sure to stop in at 79 Enterprise Drive and say hello to Kenneth and the team. The team can still be reached on 02 4028 6665.
